## Drivetrains

This drivetrain incorporates two [2 Motor Drivetrain Gearbox - Through Bore](https://www.revrobotics.com/rev-21-2190/). Each gearbox drives two sprocket and chain systems to omni-directional wheels. This model utilizes the [NEO Vortex Brushless Motors](https://www.revrobotics.com/rev-21-1652/) and [SPARK Flex Motor Controllers](https://www.revrobotics.com/rev-11-2159/).

### 3in MAXSwerve Drivetrain - [Onshape File](https://cad.onshape.com/documents/881172ccbf1a3c6b84a7c7a5/w/47b88cdaad963852e7118016/e/910662262bf507b06f5cb8ce)

This drivetrain takes advantage of four [3in MAXSwerve Modules](https://www.revrobotics.com/rev-21-3005/), allowing the robot the ability to drive forward and backward, side-to-side, and rotate simultaneously without sacrificing traction. In this example the MAXTube has been cut to a shorter length than what comes in the drivetrain kit.&#x20;

In this example, the Linear Actuator is mounted using a [pillow block](https://www.revrobotics.com/rev-21-2750/) to a [MAXSpline Shaft](https://www.revrobotics.com/rev-21-2520/) on a [dead axle](https://www.revrobotics.com/rev-21-2510/) to allow adjustable movement as the arm lifts.
