Kickoff Concepts Overview
Regardless of if your team is a brand-new rookie FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team or a veteran team with more than a decade of experience, kickoff brings new and unique challenges every year. Tackling these challenges requires rapid iteration, numerous revisions, and adaptation to the game challenges. Recognizing that not all teams have access to the same equipment or resources, we are publishing our design process using REV ION to enable and empower all teams to be competitive.
Our goal with Kickoff Concepts is to provide teams with the knowledge they need to learn how to ideate, evaluate, and prototype methods to solve each year's challenge. Our end goal with this project is not to build a robot that will win on Einstein but to create a starting point for teams to improve upon every year.
